Who We Are

Painted Premiere by Painted.App is operated by PaintedApp, LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”), 1327 SE Tacoma St #394, Portland, OR 97202, USA. Painted Premiere paints you, your family or your pet as the lead of an original film poster from your own photograph, lets you set the title and credits, and sells the result as a file, prints, canvas, garments and a short trailer at paintedpremiere.vercel.app. This policy covers what we collect when you use the site, what we do with it, and who else receives it.

Information We Collect

• Photos you upload. Sent to the render engine once and not kept by us. Only the painting made from it is stored.
• Your email address, if you sign in. Sign-in is a link we email you; there is no password. Your email address is carried in a signed cookie on your own device, and our storage files your wall under a code derived from it, not under the address itself.
• A voice recording, only if you order a trailer and choose to read its line yourself.
• Order information: email address, name, phone number and shipping address, collected by Stripe at checkout and kept there.
• Payment information: handled by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers.
• Device and usage data: your IP address, used to limit renders per connection, and a random visitor code in a cookie, used to count your free paintings. Browser type and pages visited only through analytics you have agreed to.
• Attribution: which ad or link brought you here, kept in your browser's own storage for 30 days and attached to your order.
• Messages you send us for support.

How We Use It

• To paint your poster, set its words and make your trailer (contract, and your consent for the photo)
• To take payment, print, ship and deliver your order (contract)
• To email your sign-in link, receipt, download links and trailer notices (contract)
• To answer support messages (legitimate interest)
• To measure our advertising, only where you have agreed (consent)
• To stop fraud and abuse of the free paintings (legitimate interest)

Your Photo and Your Painting

Your photo is sent once to OpenAI’s image model to paint the poster, and we do not store it. The painting is stored in Vercel Blob so you can buy it, keep it on your wall and order it again. When you buy a print, Claid.ai enlarges the painting to print resolution, and that print master is stored too. A second OpenAI model looks at the finished painting, never your photo, to find where faces sit so the title does not cover them. We do not use your photos or paintings to train AI models, and we do not sell them.

Trailers and AI Video

A trailer is AI-generated video. Kling, a video model we run through Higgsfield, receives your finished painting, not your photograph, as the first frame and paints the moving film from it. An OpenAI model drafts the script from your poster’s words, which you read and approve before anything is made, and an OpenAI voice model reads it as one of three house announcers.

If you read the line yourself, your recording is stored in Vercel Blob with the trailer and laid over the film as you spoke it. It is used for nothing but your trailer.

Record only your own voice, or a voice whose owner has agreed. Write to support@painted.app and we delete the recording and the trailer.

Faces and Biometric Data

Your photo will usually show a face: yours, someone you love, or your pet. We use it only to paint the artwork you ask for. We do not run facial recognition, try to identify anyone, or build a biometric profile or template.

Upload photos of other people only with their permission. We do not accept photographs of anyone under eighteen; the engine’s own safety filter rejects many of them, and we delete any we find. If you live in a state with a biometric-privacy law (Illinois, Texas and Washington among them), then by uploading a photo that shows a face you consent to this limited processing for the purpose of making your poster. Write to support@painted.app and we delete what was made from it.

Who Else Receives Your Data

Each of these companies receives only what its part of the job needs:

• OpenAI (San Francisco, CA): paints the poster from your photo, finds faces in the finished painting, checks the words you type, drafts the trailer script and voices the announcer.
• Higgsfield: runs Kling, the video model that paints your trailer from your finished painting.
• Claid.ai: enlarges a bought painting to print resolution. Receives the image only.
• Stripe (San Francisco, CA): takes payment. Receives your name, email, phone, shipping address and card.
• Prodigi (Manchester, UK): prints and ships paper and canvas. Receives the print file and your shipping address.
• Printful (Charlotte, NC): prints and ships garments and gifts. Receives the print file and your shipping address.
• Resend: sends our email (sign-in links, receipts, download links, trailer notices). Receives your email address and the message.
• Vercel (San Francisco, CA): hosts the site and stores paintings, print masters, trailers and recordings (Vercel Blob).
• Advertising and analytics tags, only after you agree. None is switched on today. If we switch one on, it is named here before it loads, and it still waits for your consent.

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we never share it with data brokers. No advertising tag is switched on today, so nothing is shared for advertising. You can refuse, withdraw, or send a Global Privacy Control signal at any time on Your Privacy Choices.

Cookies

Four first-party cookies keep the site working: your consent choice, your "Do Not Sell or Share" choice, your sign-in, and the visitor code that counts free paintings. Advertising and analytics tags wait for your consent. The full list, with how long each lasts, is in the Cookie Policy.

International Transfers

The site is hosted in the United States. If you visit from the EEA or the UK, your data is transferred to and processed in the United States, and Prodigi in the UK receives the print file and address for your print. We rely on the transfer terms in our processors' own data processing agreements.

How Long We Keep It

Nothing below is deleted on a timer today, except where a length is given. Everything we hold, we delete when you ask, except the records tax law makes us keep.

• Uploaded photos: not stored.
• Paintings and print masters: kept so you can buy, keep and reprint them, until you ask us to delete them.
• Trailers and voice recordings: kept so the trailer can be downloaded again, until you ask us to delete them.
• Your wall (orders and kept paintings, filed under a code, not your address): until you ask us to delete it.
• Sign-in link: works once, for 15 minutes. Sign-in cookie: 30 days.
• Visitor code and free-painting count: the cookie lasts 365 days; the count is kept until you ask.
• Order and payment records: held by Stripe and kept as long as tax and accounting law requires, up to seven years.

Deleting Your Account

There is no password to close. To delete everything tied to your email address (your wall, your paintings, trailers, recordings and your pass count), write to support@painted.app from that address, or tell us the address you ordered with. We confirm when it is done. Payment records stay with Stripe as the law requires. You can sign out at any time from Your Wall.

Business Transfers

If PaintedApp, LLC or any of its studios is merged, sold, financed or reorganized, customer information may pass to the successor as part of that deal. The successor stays bound by this policy or tells you before anything material changes.

Your Rights

Everyone: to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, and receive a copy in a machine-readable format.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): to know what we collect, use and disclose; to delete it; to opt out of its sale or sharing; to limit use of sensitive personal information; and not to be treated differently for using any of these rights.

EEA and UK residents (GDPR): to withdraw consent at any time, restrict or object to processing, and complain to your local data protection authority.

California Disclosure

In the last 12 months we collected these categories of personal information, as the CCPA defines them:

• Identifiers: name, email address, phone number, IP address
• Commercial information: orders and products bought
• Internet activity: pages visited, only through analytics you agreed to
• Geolocation: approximate location from your IP address, only through analytics you agreed to
• Audio and visual information: the photo you upload (not stored), and a voice recording if you read a trailer line yourself (stored with the trailer)

We do not sell personal information for money. You may opt out of any sharing for advertising on Your Privacy Choices, in the cookie banner, or with a Global Privacy Control signal.

Children

Painted Premiere is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and we do not accept photographs of anyone under 18. If you believe a minor’s image was uploaded, write to us and we delete anything made from it.

Changes

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it and the line under the date says what moved.
